Accessibility statement

Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to browse, order and get help from Vleis & Co., including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control or magnification, and people with low vision, colour blindness, motor or cognitive disabilities. We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

What we do

• Pages use proper headings and landmarks, and there is a skip link to the main content.
• Everything can be used with a keyboard, and the focus position is always visible.
• Form fields have labels, and errors are described in text.
• Text and controls meet the AA colour contrast ratios.
• Touch targets are at least 44 pixels, and text fields are large enough that phones do not zoom in.
• Animation is reduced or removed if your device asks for less motion.
• The site works from phone to desktop screens and when you enlarge the text.

Known limits

We have tested this site ourselves but it has not yet had an independent accessibility audit. Some things are outside our control or may not yet be perfect:

• The payment page is run by PayFast, and we cannot change its accessibility.
• Product photos have short descriptions, and some may be less detailed than they could be.
• Invoices are provided as web pages that can be printed or saved.
